Privacy Policy

SessioTech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains what data we collect when you use the SessioTech platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SessioTech you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as when you create an account, contact support, or configure your workspace. This includes your name, email address, company name, and billing details. We also collect data generated by your use of our platform: camera stream metadata (no raw video is stored on our servers), occupancy counts, zone configurations, usage logs, and device/browser information for diagnostics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to: • Provide, operate, and improve the SessioTech platform • Authenticate users and manage account access • Generate occupancy analytics and reports for your organization • Send transactional emails (account creation, billing receipts, alerts you configure) • Respond to support requests • Monitor platform performance and investigate issues We do not sell your personal data to third parties, nor do we use occupancy or video-derived data for advertising purposes.
3. Camera Data and Privacy
SessioTech processes video streams on-premise or via encrypted transfer to derive anonymous occupancy counts. We do not perform facial recognition or store identifiable images of individuals. Occupancy data is aggregated at the zone level and does not include personal identifiers. Raw video frames are processed transiently and are not retained on SessioTech infrastructure unless you explicitly enable cloud recording (an optional feature). When enabled, footage is encrypted at rest and in transit.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only in the following circumstances: • With service providers who help us operate SessioTech (cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery), under data processing agreements that restrict their use of your data • With your organization's authorized administrators, consistent with your account permissions • When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where we will notify you and give you the option to delete your account
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. Upon account termination you may request deletion of all associated data within 30 days. Occupancy analytics data is retained for the period you select in your plan settings (default 12 months). Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by accounting regulations.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular third-party security audits. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Correct inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") • Object to or restrict certain processing • Receive your data in a portable format To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@sessiotech.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your login session and security tokens. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so will prevent you from remaining logged in.
9. Children's Privacy
SessioTech is a B2B platform intended for use by businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately at privacy@sessiotech.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
